Sense question/assistance on playlist shuffle

My question is when I have a session with a playlist and later want to do another session with the same play list. The shuffle of tracks seems to be the same all the time? Ex. 20 songs are shuffled then sessions ends. Later I do some more listening with the same play list. However the play order of the shuffle is the same not letting you cycle through a larger playlist to hear the tracks not played prior in a different order?
 
Can you let me know the size of the playlist you are playing from, how many tracks are in it?
And when you are shuffling the playlist to play, can i confirm that you are choosing the 'Shuffle' option from the Play drop down bar:

155 tracks, ex xmas music for the day.....yes I am choosing the shuffle option
 
Also, I have ripped about a dozen albums so far, there are errors and skips and jumps on about a third of them???? So im concerned about the ripping process with the external ripped we discussed and I purchased compared to the internal which seemed to be error free?? Any thoughts or suggestions on how I can address to trouble shoot?
 
On the topic of errors with the rips, perhaps just return the offset back to 0, which then tells the system to make its own best determination for the ripping. As for the shuffle play, I am looking into.
In regards to the app on Mac freezing, is this running the iOS mobile app emulated on to Mac, or are you running my.innuos.com on a web browser tab?
 
We are struggling to reproduce anything list this in regards to the playlist shuffling - to check, you are on latest 3.1 software?
Perhaps download the System Logs from the Advanced Settings in Sense and email those to us so that we can take a look.

I have been asked for passwords before, I never set one, how do I get out of this loop, can you reset it?
 
also, I am thinking of moving to a windows laptop, will that make any difference in using Sense?

Changing to a Windows laptop won't me a dramatic difference, i would just say use my.innuos.com on a browser on your Mac which will probably work better.
As for the system logs, there is no need to try and open them, just send us the ZIP file that it should download.
 
ok, I did re-rip some of the problem CD's with error's with the 0 setting. Im testing now but so far they seem to rip cleaner?
 
FYI, I don't think I received a response/resplution to my playlist issue? I have say 6 albums from my library loaded into a holiday play list. So that's like say 60 tracks. I select random play shuffle and play. Next day I select the playlist and shuffle and the same smaller sample of tracks plays many less than the 60 to choose from. It's like the Cashe keeps the same tracks over and over? So it does not show any variety????
