We’ve received a few reports from users experiencing similar issues with Qobuz, where certain tracks fail to play. The affected tracks seem to be random, but once identified, they tend to consistently fail on those systems, even though they play without issue via the Qobuz app on a phone or tablet.

This is not isolated to our platform, as other brands such as Naim, Roon, Wiim and more have all reported similar behaviour on their own support threads. This will be related to ongoing infrastructure changes on Qobuz’s side.

We’re looking into this.

Launched a Qobuz playlist a couple of days ago and a few songs into playback it started to act up. I heard silence and when I glanced at the progress bar for playback, the bar would move for a few seconds, stop, and reset to the beginning of the song and start moving again. It would just stay there repeating the same routine but with no sound. I could select the next song and it would either play the next song or go into the same routine with another song. The only thing that finally solved it was me going into advanced settings and clearing the playback buffer. I’ve had this problem for months now on both of my systems using two different Pulse Minis so not a specific system issue. Today I noticed a new problem with the Qobuz integration in Sense. If I go to an Artist and scroll down to the list of that artist’s albums in Qobuz, a weird thing happens. If that artist has more albums than the initial screen shows and I click on “show more”, within a few seconds the additional albums just disappear! Going back and clicking the “show more” button does the same thing over and over. This Qobuz integration is getting pretty unusable. This happens on my iPhone 17 Air with the latest IOS, using the latest Sense version. It’s actually worse on my iPad Pro where the list of albums eventually disappears altogether.
Hi Olaff, the issue with the screen displaying the number of albums correctly is something that has been reported and we are looking in to. The playback issue you describe is not known however; are you finding this behaviour happens frequently despite clearing the Queue Cache?
