Selecting tracks and add to playlists

I have a new Zen NG that arrived 1 week ago and I’m having two problems whether playing from the backup loaded from my old Zenith MKIII or streaming with Qobuz:

1. When selecting a track in my album library to play it will at times jump to a different song on the album. If I try a different track it again jumps to a different song. After many attempts it will finally allow me to select the track I want to play

2. Often times when trying to add a song to a playlist list I get a message that I have no playlists, but I do. After repeatedly trying it finally will find the playlists and allow me to add the song.

Neither problem occurred the first 4-5 days after it arrived and are becoming more frequent over the last several days.

I’ve checked for system updates and get a message that the system is up to date with version 3.0.4

I’m using an iPad with the newest iPadOS version 18.0.1

Any idea what’s going on?

Hi Paul, on your first point it simply sounds like Shuffle has been enabled - if you increase the Now Playing screen to fullscreen, can you check if the shuffle icon is highlighted in gold or not? It should be in plain white to show that shuffle is not active - if it is gold in colour, it means shuffle mode is active. You are looking for the left-hand icon here, with the two crossing arrows:

As for the playlist issue, could you let me know if these are playlists that have you built from new in Sense, or if these are playlists that have come in from Tidal or Qobuz?
