Open Scheduled Power On/Off

In the spirit of trying to do whatever is possible to reduce power consumption/carbon emissions etc, it would be great to incorporate a power saving feature through scheduled or automated power on/off of Innuos devices if left idle or after a particular configurable time of day.

At the previous feedback zone I added the fact I keep forgetting turning off my zenith. Would use an auto power off after X time function.

I agree that this would be a great feature, but as a sort of stand-by mode. It would defenitely be added value if the device could be switched on again from within the Sense app and webbrowser.

Fortunately, that should not really be necessary; this kind of feature would likely exist just on a software level.
We could explore the option of an Auto-standby when the system is idle after X amount of time.
As for turning the system on via an app, this would essentially require Wake-on-LAN which we have quite a cautious view on. It's very network-dependant in terms of reliably working, and is prone to unexpected behaviour. NAS drives, for example, can trigger the system to wake up etc.
We certainly do recognise the desire for easier on/off which is why there will be an IR remote that can do this for STREAM series,
