STREAM Series Megapost

When you describe the STREAM1 & LPS1 you write: “…and would exceed the PULSE with the presence of an output module”. Please clarify if that means that you need to buy an “additional” output module e.g. the PhoenixUSB to get a better performance than the Pulse if you use USB? And does the PhoenixUSB output module to STREAM1 provide the same performance as the standalone PhoenixUSB reclocker?

There is not a strict 'need' to buy an output module because there is still the standard onboard USB output. On its own like this, I would not expect the STREAM1 to outperform a PULSE. By the time you add the LPS1, it becomes a lot more comparable. By the time you add a PhoenixUSB module, I would say its ahead of the PULSE - the point there is that the system is quite configurable to an upgrade path at different levels/price points. So if you are looking for an improvement over a PULSE, yes should consider a dedicated output module being fitted inside.
The standalone PhoenixUSB would still have the edge in performance because it has more dedicated linear power supplies and isolation etc, but in terms of relative value, reduced box count, and reduced expense of additional (upgrade) cables to power and USB, the module is a very effective option. But for someone who perhaps already owns a PhoenixUSB and is not fussed about reducing the number of boxes, it makes sense to keep it and carry on using it rather than replace with a module.

Lots of good feedback from people hearing the Stream 3 with our prototype PhoenixDAC module here in Hong Kong.

The Nazarè has been the main attraction in our room however!

Mods, any idea of when the new stream supply chain/production issues will be solved? It is been a while and any clarity or update would be much appreciated

I was the first to pre-order the Stream3 from my dealer in May.... patiently waiting, he then told me looks like mid August... now he's telling me it's October.. Geesh. Lucky i bought a Grimm MU1 instead of waiting or i'll be waiting forever.

Well I ordered Stream1 based on information on the expected availability on here. That was still spring time. Now the 3 months of summer are about to end I am getting frustrated. I am heading to my dealer tomorrow and will ask for my money back. This is just not serious.

There are more shipments going out today and we are ready to send multiple devices with many more ready to go next week once paperwork etc with dealers is settled. I cannot account for exact individual orders but all i can say is the next round of deliveries are underway, so do double check the status with your dealer.

any news, have you got your stream1?

Most of the demo Stream 1 units ordered by dealers have now shipped, and Stream 3 demo systems also started going out last week. Your dealer will be able to keep you updated as they receive more news.

We know many of you are eager to get your hands on these and we really appreciate your patience. Rest assured it will be worth the wait once your system arrives. Much of the timing depends on how quickly our suppliers can get us the components we need, but we’re building, testing and shipping systems as quickly as possible. More units will continue to go out over the coming weeks.

Nobody wants to see these fulfilled more than us, we can’t wait to hear your feedback once you finally get to enjoy them!
