Stay tuned for more! New series of music streamer/servers

Modules are to be fit either in the factory prior to shipping or by your dealer should you want to to change it or have a module fit after purchase.
The standard Dac is the same used on the outgoing ZenMini yes. The performance Dac is big upgrade on this!
The problem is that my dealer in Germany told me that the Perfomance Dac is not available until August, do you know something about that?

Yes, but they are not very well reported in reviews (mostly off-the-shelf dac chips), I haven’t read anything that says something like “the buyer should really experience the Innuos in-house dac module” or similar. Or, Innuos’s line of inbuilt dacs are far better / or this holds its own against XX / XY dac.
IMO in the low-level product they might get a few sales but in the higher end Innuos would have to prove to a lot of ppl they have something to offer over the competition. It’s not impossible, but for Innuos, is it worth the time and capital investment?? Only they can know.
The DAC we offered before on just the ZENmini and PULSEmini were good but quite modest and appropriate to the price; the new Performance and Phoenix DACs will be a completely different breed altogether but are not on the market just yet, so there are no reports of these online currently.

We are evidently making good progress on the DAC front, but this does not happen overnight. Indeed, we could in the past have slapped together an Innuos DAC or just stuck our label on something made by another brand, but this is not our way and streamers have indeed been our speciality so far.
We've definitely been working hard on a strong DAC solution but still preferred to apply this as an internal module solution for our existing streamers. We always have a 'never say never' philosophy, so a standalone DAC could happen one day! But it is a hugely competitive sector (much more so than streamers) so needs very careful consideration that we can really bring something unique to the table to draw people away from the DAC they already have, or had already shortlisted to buy next...

The megapost is up!

This is great - no production issues as noted 3 months ago, pallets being loaded 2.5 months ago but still no sight of the product announced in May …. the advice on here and by email is “talk to your dealer”, which I did every 2 or 3 weeks and they have no news from Innous … is this serious? If you have a problem - come forward and be upfront re the delays. I gave my money now nearly 4 months ago. I got a car build in the US sooner than this.
I still haven’t cancelled my order and now deeply regret it. Should have gone for an Audio Note cd player instead :(

Got mine last week (S1+LPS1). Still fiddling around with it. Replaced my old NAD CD player. Using the same DAC (laiv udac) as before and a quality silver USB from Tubulus. Connected for the moment to the same Gato amp (not hooked up to my new Audio Note integrated yet). Did not have much time as was basically ripping my cd collection. One odd bit - previously I was listening to Gato at volume settings 8 to 12. Now have to crank from 35 to 50 and still sound muted - suspect something in the cables as if the signal path is obstructed

Yes as @erho says, do check the volume level down in the bottom-right of Sense app as it may still be set to 50 rather than 100%
