Playlist tracks deleted

Hi, I have an Inuos Zen Mini MK3 SSD for about 14 months now. This morning I ran into a problem concerning playlists. I have a playlist clalled 'Singles' in which I gather individual songs. The list contained about 680 tracks. This morning after playing a song in the list it took a few seconds to 'download the list'. I then added another song to the playlist. After doing so I wanted to check if the added song was in the list. To my suprise the playlist now containes only 47 tracks. The songs are still on the Zen Mini, but not in the playlist anymore. I cannot restore the latest back-up, since I will then loose other changes I have made since then. I already made a support issue, hoping the support team can help me. Since I've had several software issues in the past, I'm starting to wonder if I it's an individual problem and if the system software is somehow corrupt. Does anyone have the same problem?

I have same issues. Morevoer the playlist stops with this missing track then sometimes I fully’loose control of the streamer ansd have to reset it !
I was in contact with Innuos support but their sole explanation is the quality of my network. The tracks are sometimes physically on the Innuos hard drive.

I have also experienced exactly the issues that you have described plus the others in this and similar threads.
I was having to reset my Zen Mini 3-4 times per day as it was ‘freezing’ on a track that it ‘choked’ on and couldn’t play. Then the app would be non responsive and I would have to close the app and swipe clear on the iPhone and then re-open.

I had exacly the same problem, twice. I have lost hundreds of musics from two playlists, in the end I only stayed with 49 musics in each. Another problem is musics in the playlist that don't play, the music is visible but doesn't work, the album lost its connection to the server or the server changed???
 
Hi AVMarques, I'm glad I'm not the only one who had this problem (sorry for you, offcourse). As I reported this issue I was quit sure I noticed this issue before. I reported this playlist issue and then I never spent any time to rebuilt this playlist, I never had a solution since I could not reproduce it. One reason being afraid it might get lost again someday. Another reason is that at the same time I had some library and performance issues which have been solved this morning during an online support session.

In my case the music from the playlist was still on the server, just disappeared from the playlist. The problem of songs that are in the playlist but won't play might be solved after rescanning the library. This might recover some links to the songs in the playlist. If not I would recommend to report the issue to the support team. You may refer to me for having reported the same issue. Good luck.
 
Hi again Stephen, it just happened again, my playlist of 'Singles' is with no reason reduced to 48 tracks. About one hour ago it still had about 300 local tracks is it. I didn't edit anything in the playlist, just imported an album and a new single track using the MacOS finder. Please let me know what happened!

Then I would need to re-start the Zen Mini and enjoy until it happened again - usually within an hour or two.
These issues were most significant when playing on shuffle and less so played straight.
Biggest problem has been mixed playlists consisting of ripped tracks from CD and Qobuz combined.
All of these issues have disappeared since the recent updates - apologies if you’ve already confirmed, but are you on the latest system update 3.3.2?
If my memory serves me well 3.3.1 fixed these issues for me.

I have downloaded the 3.3.1 then the 3.3.2. The ZenMini is playing for 1h without issues. I cross the fingers !
Il would be so great after more than 6 difficult months.
Luckily I also listen vinyls and CDs.
Hi Loc that’s great - yes fingers crossed it will be fixed from now on.
I notice that you said that you have had the problem for 6 months.
I must confess that I also had a different issue, before this , for a long time - and became very frustrated including doubting the quality of the brand.
However I also came to this forum and Stephen Healy helped me get it fixed pretty quickly.
So I would say come to the forum, or create a new thread if you have an issue, and either the community or the Innuos team will look after you well.
That has been my experience, and that has given me great confidence, and am about to buy another innous streamer to add to my Zen mini. Best regards Steve
