My DAC (Trinnov Altitude) has no digital audio USB port, just SPDIF. I plan to use the Manunta HiFace 2 as an adapter. Has anybody experience? Do I need to load a driver? How.

This definitely works, and you will not need a driver - drivers are really only needed for Windows machines.
Yes, I have used a M2TECH/Manunta Hiface2 successfully with a Zen Mk3 running Sense 2 and 3.
Have been using this for almost 4 years on my Zenith MK3 without issues! came recommended from the dealer.
