Anyone successfully used a MiniDSP product with their Innuos device?

I just bought a MiniDSP Flex HTx with the intention of better integrating my subwoofers with my main speakers. Via a USB input jack on the MiniDSP, I've gotten test tones to play from both the mains and subs using the audio analysis program, REW. Also, the tones are responding to settings changes (gain, etc.) using the MiniDSP control app, "Device Console." All seemed promising.

When I connect my Statement via the same USB port on the MiniDSP, however, I get no sound whatsoever. Furthermore, the test music files I've tried to play (from Chicago VI and other recordings) "play" silently from the beginning for about nine seconds, then skip back to the start of the song...over and over. Once this happens, even pausing the player has no effect, and the only way to stop the file is to close the Sense app.

Has anybody successfully played music through one of the MiniDSP devices? Any thoughts regarding what I've described? Thanks.

The Statement, nor the mini-DSP have a DAC, I would expect you need to connect the Statement to your DAC , then your DAC output to the mini-DSP to apply the filters/gain to the music stream.

Hi, Frank, thanks for chiming in. As it turns out, many (most?) of the MiniDSP products DO have a DAC, including the model I cited, the Flex HTx. The problem is that the Statement is two-channel only, while the Flex HTx requires a multichannel signal. They do have other models that are two-channel compatible, but limited to the processing of only two subwoofers, not four like I was considering. So, I'm looking into these other options. Thanks, again!
