DSD download to mk3 possible?

Bought DSD albums from qobuz but am unable to download to Mk3... they download as CD quality... this normal? Do I need to save to my external HDD? Can play from HDD, or will I need to transfer to a USB?

Mahalo - am still relatively new to streaming etc.

I just replied to your same post on PS Audio forum . Yes you can. I provided instructions and a couple of screenshots for guidance.
The DS DAC can playback upto DSD256 for both Mk1 and Mk2.
Mk1 specs I2S, and USB — 44.1kHz to 352.8kHz 16bit, 24bit, DSD 64, DSD 128 (I2S DSD 256 with Sunlight update)

Mk2 specs
I2S: PCM 16 and 24 bits at 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz, 96kHz, 176.4kHz, 192kHz, 352.8kHz, and 705.6; DoP64, DoP128, DoP256, DSD64, DSD128, and DSD256

USB: PCM 16 and 24 bits at 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz, 96kHz, 176.4kHz, 192kHz, 352.8kHz, and 705.6; DoP64, DoP128, DoP256, DSD64, DSD128, and DSD256

Are you sure the albums are on Qobuz in DSD? I checked an album I purchased in DSD from Native DSD - Carmen Gomes Inc. / Don’t You Cry.
In Qobuz the album is only available at 24/96 PCM.
Might be worth double checking the available resolution.
Are you using the Qobuz Downloader ?

The Innuos will not convert files as they come in to the server, they should stay exactly as they already are so perhaps double check the stated resolution and format of the files that are being downloaded from Qobuz?

i did download to laptop and transfer and was DSD, whereas the direct download onto Zen Mk3 was CD quality... all sorted now tho thanks to you! have DSD now - wow.

not sure why, but the files I imported off the USB were the original DSD when saved on Zen Mk3, but when I first went to Qobuz and downloaded the same purchased album, it came in as CD quality despite being DSD, might be an issue on the Qobuz side. Sorted now and !wow! does the Zen Mk3 do DSD well through my PSA DS Dac Mk1. Mahalos

Good to hear it is sorted.
I’m not familiar with downloading direct to Innuos , through Qobuz. I know if I try to purchase through Qobuz on my mobile it limits the resolution?
On my laptop I get everything they offer on each track/album.
