Hello again,

I tried CueTools in order to "extract" my FLAC tracks, it doesn't seem to work.

So I intended to rip CDs from the Innuos Sense dashboard (run on a PC with a CD reader), as described on your HowTo "Ripping CDs" web page. But there is no "Server" choice on the Sense screen bottom line, only (translated from french) "Home", "Music", "System" and "Search". None of these choices seems to give access to a ripping facility.

Pulse firmware release is 3.2.5

Is it a matter of wrong choice in the system mode selection ? (Presently "Innuos standalone") or do I need to connect a USB CD player to the Pulse and not use the one on the PC ? Nothing about it on the web page...

The PULSE series is not capable or ripping CDs which is why you cannot find an option for this. You will need to perform the CD ripping on your PC using separate software, and then copy those CDs on to a USB drive. Perhaps consider a dedicated NAS drive to place the files on as you will find this a better experience in terms of the Sense app experience compared to playing directly for a connected USB drive.

Stephen,
Thank you for the info. Not a big problem, though it could have been nice to be able to do it on the Pulse.
Perhaps would it be useful to change the "Ripping CDs" web page... It says on the second/third lines : "All Innuos servers/streamers are able to rip the digital audio tracks from compliant CDs..."

We will amend that to be clearer - in this particular case, PULSE series is streamer only, and has no server functionality. It needs internal storage to be able to rip a CD which is not a feature the PULSE series has. Without internal storage, there is nowhere to store the CD rip as Sense does cannot divert them to USB or NAS drives.
