Ripped album no longer plays certain tracks?

Hi All,
Using Sense (latest software compilation) and Zenith mk3 is storing music on installed SSD.
I tried to play some tracks off a CD I ripped on my Zenith mk3. The tracks previously played after ripping but now they do not. If I select a track Sense simply jumps to a “playable” track.
Any ideas?? This is happening to many ripped CDs. Even if I simply press “play” button under the album graphics Sense won’t necessarily start on the 1st track - very weird.
It seems random - i.e. the jumps are not always repeatable, doesn’t always jump to same track.
Could this be an issue with the internal SSD storage? No problem with space as I’ve only used 9% according to Sense.

Solution
Could it be that shuffle has been enabled by mistake? Open up the Now laying screen and check if the left-hand symbol is highlighted in gold:

If it is, tap on it again so that it goes white to disable shuffle.
Let me know if you have ruled this out and the behaviour persists.
