Evening,

I’m new to Innuos and I’ve just purchased a used Zen MK3 which I should hopefully receive within the next few days.

Just wondered is Airplay 2 available as a plugin?

Also are the connect features Spotify and Qobuz available on the Zen MK3?

Thanks

Hi @Art20 , I hope you will be very pleased with the ZEN!
Yes, Qobuz Connect is supported as is Spotify Connect, though not currently with Lossless support.
As for Airplay 2, we are currently working on the official integration of that which should be not too far from being ready via software update.
As for the LMS plugin, there is an Airplay plugin but my understanding is that it still uses AirPlay1...

Thanks for replying.
Will Spotify Lossless support be on the roadmap?
Cheers

Technically we do not have official Spotify Connect support although we have repeatedly requested it. Our Connect integration is a strong workaround and has proven to be very reliable since it was introduced with 3.3.0.

Lossless support is being investigated. However it is not a simple change and to my knowledge would require a complete reimplementation.

I’m also having an issue with Spotify connect. When I first got my Zen it was working, now it doesn’t appear.
Any tips or help with regards to getting this back?
Cheers
You'll need to make sure the connected DAC is connected and turned on, otherwise the Innuos will not appear as a receiver. You will also need to make sure you are fully updated to 3.3.7 since that did include a hotfix to Spotify.

Regarding smart mix, is there a way to have a continuation of previously listened genre rather than being quite random?
It depends if you mean Smart Mix or SmartQ - but you may find it easier to filter the Albums view to show just the genres you want to listen to, then initiate and Smart Mix just from those specifically selected tags/genres.

Sorry I meant SmartQ, so after the last track played during a session
SmartQ will factor in related artists, so should be pretty genre-relevant but can deviate a bit. As I say, you can set the behaviour in Settings to only pull from your current library if you want it to seem a bit less unfamiliar with no suggestions, but if you are keen to have it quite genre specific then I would say start a Mix from the filtered library from pre-selected generes. You can also go to the Genres & Tags category and start a Mix from there, and SmartQ should stay pretty relevant to that theme.
