Hi,

Hopefully someone here can help me as i am a newbie with Innuos.
Have read the forum, but can’t find the solution, so here’s my story….

I bought a Zen mini MK3 (OS 3.1.1) with the LPSU so i could rip and store my cd’s and also stream music wireless by UPnP to my small Devialets Phantom II.
But no matter what i do, i can’t get the Innuos and the Devialets to connect together by UPnP (i also have some google Hubs which are also UPnP, but also not seen by the Zen mini MK3)
Of course, optical connection works fine, but that’s not what i had in mind.
Also i want to connect to Spotify, and i have seen the workaround. Will try that in next days, hope that works.

Maybe someone could help me out.
Thanks a lot for reading and helping.

Hi, I can share some insights regarding UPnP with Devialet Phantom I, as the LMS Server used by Sense needs some tweaking. However the first step is to connect them of course. How exactly is your network set up? Is there maybe a subnet involved? Are all devices directly connected to one, central router which creates the DNS addresses?

Hi, thnx for replying. Appreciate the help. I can’t get them to work over UPnP.
I connected them at set up both wireless to my wifi network, UPnP is enabled in the router which gives ip- and dns- adresses. No subnet. I connected 1 with a utp cable from the Innuos streamer outlet to the Phantom.
Even tried the same one by connecting it directly to my router. Makes no difference.
Router gives dns-adresses and ip-adresses.
I can see them with for example jplay or mconnect lite.
Thanks again, hope i get it to work.

I’m getting a bit closer… i now checked the boxes UPnP bridge and UPnP media interface. Now i see other devices incl the Phantom the Innuos app.
I can’t choose the Phantom as output device….😬.

You can start with the integrated settings. I, however prefer these for HiRes listening. I did a lot of testing and trial and error as the UPnP in the Phantoms I is quite finicky. Maybe it is better in the Phantom II, I don't know. So, your milage may vary.

Hi,
Thnx for helping me 👍.
Last night i played a bit more with the settings in LMS thanks to your advice of tweaking LmS and now it looks they’re up and running in Innuos 😊. I also see my other UPnP devices like google Hub’s and my TV. Trying to find my way in the app, not always really intuitive i think.
I’ll definitely have a look at your settings for optimal settings. Reaaly thnx a lot so far.
Do you also know if Innuos can be implemented in Google or Siri or any other smart home / smart system? Would be really nice if i could adopt it in my smart setting 😊. Grtz

Hi Diskie,

I'm experiencing the same problem - not finding Phantoms as Streamers in the Sense app. How did you manage to get them showing up as Streamers?

Hi,

In your browser you go the ip adress of your Innuos system, and after the ip-adress you type (or copy-paste) “:9000/default/settings/index.html”.
Here you can click the “plug-ins” tab and then you can adjust the LMS settings. You need to check the boxes plugins UPNP/DLNA and go from there. Also see the info above and in the pictures above.

Grtz.

Are you able to see them in the audio settings?
Of course, your router needs to have UPNP enabled...
Did you try to find them with for example jplay or mconnect lite app?

I first connected the phantoms with ethernet cables. hereafter still the innuos did not find them. The trick was to unpair the phantoms as stereo in the devialet app. Then all phantoms came available as streamers in the Sense app. Connect one of phantoms as streamer in the Sense app. Hereafter bring them back as stereo pair in the Devialet app.

Today updated InnuOS 3.2. - need to do same process again ;)

Hi,

Same problem here with update 3.2 😬 i noticed this morning 🙄. Playing ripped cd’s is okay now after new hobby work, but playing radio streams doesn’t work anymore 🙄.
