What is the the function of 'refresh library cache' in Sense OS for a ZenMini?

Hi, does anyone know what will happen if I use this 'refresh library cache' function on my ZenMini MK3 (meant for the support team only ..)?. I sometimes have some search issues and I wonder if this function might solve these problems.

It is there in case any changes to the Sense library (such as copy new files into the Music folder from a PC) have for some reason not been updated and reflected in the UI, which usually happens immediately and automatically. This option forces a manual refresh for this, so I don't believe it will relate to searches if your library otherwise seems correct.

Hi, is this then the same as rescanning the library under the 'Storage' menu?
