After update 3.2, we have identified that on some systems the Radio Paradise plugin automatically updates itself to a new version that does not interface properly through Sense. As a result, there are various issues metadata does not appear correctly, inability to skip to the next track through the Interactive Stream, and so on.
In some cases, going to the Now Playing screen -> Queue - Clear Queue, then re-attempting the RP stream will restore the metadata to be displayed correctly temporarily.
This is added to the backlog to be fully resolved via subsequent software update.

The workaround for now would be to search for one of the Radio Paradise streams through the main Internet Radio catalogue, as these function normally.

There were also changes made in terms of how radio information is transmitted to the system that needs to be adapted on our end. We hope to fix this in the next update due soon.

I'm seeing weird metadata for BBC streams (R3, R4, R4Extra, etc) too, e,g. http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx...Id=16&serial=1b241c4637eb301c8c17ffa9edd78dab

I'm having trouble with the workaround for RP. I go to Music -> Radio (under Streaming Service) -> Radio Services -> Radio Paradise -> Main Mix -> and click Main Mix - FLAC Regular Stream (rather than Interactive) from the pulldown. I now see track metadata but the track info does not match what's playing and never changes. Also, the Next Track/Skip Track does not work. Am I doing something wrong regarding the workaround?

The workaround is to not use the RP links from the Radio Services category. Instead, just go to the overall Radio section and then run a search in the top-right corner for Radio Paradise. You will find a separate list of feeds there which you can preset for now, and these should perform better.

Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately, same result with feed from Radio section (scrrenshot below) as with the feed from Radio Services section.RP screen from Radio sec.jpg

I’m finding a similar thing on selecting anything in BBC Sounds. The previous selection, whether it be Radio Station or stored track is shown as metadata. But using Clear Queue and selecting BBC Sounds again does the trick.

3.2.2 has fixed album art, THANKYOU. However skip in RP interactive streams is still not working. Looking forward to moving swiftly past Jethro Tull & Harry Manx.

Correct, the skip feature on Interactive remains to be solved, however the behaviour/performance and metadata should be improved now. There is some more refinement required still which I can split into a separate Known Issue.

Is there a workaround for the skip function?
The only one i know of at the moment is to go directly to the LMS interface via a web browser using the :9000 extension, and using the Radio Paradise service under 'My Apps' there. This seems to be able to skip through tracks on the Interactive 2050 stream i tested.
Alternatively, you could get the stream going via Sense, then switch to one of the traditional 'Squeeze' apps like Squeezer on Android and use the playback controls to skip on that instead.

This works for me ; play any Radio Paradise interactive station from the Music- Radio- Radio Paradise menu then go to the LMS interface via a web browser using the:9000 ext. The skip function works from here
