So thought people may be interested in my initial impressions of the Pulse.

Lets start with the most important bit, the sound quality. To be honest I was not expecting this, its a BIG step up on my Eversolo DMPA6. As I say I was really not expecting this, I mean I hear the argument that bits are bits right, but well its a big step up to me. You may ask why did I spend this sort of money on a streamer if I was not wanting better performance. Well I tend to agree :) but to my good fortune it really is quite a step up.
I am not good at describing what I hear, but its cleaner and this makes the music sound less congested and instruments stand out better. Vocals too seem to have more prominence. So absolutley delighted with this.
This was using the Roon app as I am a lifetime subscriber. I then tried using the Sense app and again I really think I heard an improvement again. So it just gets better, however its not that simple as I will explain below as I am having an issue getting all of my libraary on the Sense app.

Another downside is the Tidal use within the Sense app is just not as good as the native Tidal app. For eg New releases are way out of date. This is the same as the Eversolo and Roon app, TIDAL is just not updating within them. I know this is being debated on the Roon forum. Also I love the section "My Daily Discovery" on the native Tidal app. Its just 10 new songs every day. Again not available on Tidal within the Sense app.

So I am still also using Tidal Connect , and I was hoping the Sense app would replace the whole lot.

I never anticipated wanting the Sense app to replace Roon as I am a lifer, but I may do . The Sense app is not as good as Roon in many respects , but I do really like it and its visually appealing and I may just have to get used to it. Of course it sounds better too, so thats a MAJOR driving factor.

However this is where I have an issue. I want to manage my whole library in the Sense app as I do in Roon. However after hours and hours of trying I cant get my Innuos to find my Nucleus server. The Nucleus is definitely on the same Network , as I use Roon with it , but the Innuos just cant seem to find it.
I have followed the steps in the Roon guidance to but I cant find my Nucleus.

This is a shame as I am actually now considering another Innuos streamer for my main speaker rig too as I am impressed so far.
I am in contact with support about this so hopefully I can solve it.

Anyway I have made this a very long post :) I just thought it was worth sharing my initial impressions.

EDIT - I may have posted this in the wrong section :)
