Hi
I have the original Zen Mark 1 (13 years old) and it would appear that I have suffered a hard drive failure or corruption! My system was upgraded by innuous 8 years ago and was able to run MyInnuos.

I have a backup of most of my music but the backup will only work using the old Vortexbox software rather than MyInnuos. As Innuous no longer support MK1 I am not able to get the software that would allow me to replace the hard drive and use the backup to restore my music library.

I was wondering if anybody could help me out and let me know of any way that I could get the MyInnuos software that could be run on MK1.

Many thanks for any help/thoughts.

Update to this and bump.
I used a usb to sata connector and hooked up the hdd to a laptop. Laptop said device is working properly and it shows partitioned drives, I just can't access anything.
The hdd spins which could, I wonder, mean it's the software thats a problem.
Any thoughts? Thanks

Hi,

Whilst we do not offer support for these systems or have the vortexbox software available. You can find a download link for this as well as install instructions via their website here - https://wiki.vortexbox.org/

You cannot get our Innuos software to run on MK1 hardware.
