Hello, I’ve been using a CAD gc1 grounding box plugged into a USB port to great effect on my Zenith Mk 3. I have now upgraded to an Stream3 and would like to ask if the gc1 would be more useful plugged into the chassis ground port, or leave it connected via a USB port?
Thanks for your help.

It's not something I have tested, perhaps CAD themselves would know better. If you happen to have a cable with a 4mm plug on it then you could compare the two and see which yields better results, but to my understanding you should not use both chassis and signal to the same GC1 simultaneously.

Hi guys, I own a Stream 1 + LPS1 to be used only as Music Library for my NAIM NDX2. What is the function of chassis grounf plug on the rear of Stream 1. Should I connect something on it or it is used only whan other type of output connection are used. At the moment I use only the two LAN ports (LAN/Streamer)

Grounding is a passive upgrade you can make to your system overall and can be connected in many ways. There are grounding products from several brands like CAD, Entreq, Puritan Audio, Chord Company etc. The need for it varies from system to system, so I would say that you can explore this if you are open to a bit of experimentation and have a dealer that carries some options for you to test at home.
