Hello,
I've just bought a Stream1 and I am away to start ripping all my CD's. From the Stream 1 instructions it looks like the CD optical drive must be USB A only.
Will a USB C, CD optical drive be work for ripping CD's?

Optical drives tend to be pretty universal in this regard - if it says it will work with MacOS, then that means it should work with Linux.
You would only encounter a potential issue if you found an optical drive that very explicitly states that it will ONLY work on Windows and requires very specific software to even operate/function. That is unlikely to work on our systems.
