I'm thinking of moving from a Zenith MK3 to a Pulsar for SQ reasons, and was wondering if anyone here had done the same and how they got on. Music files would be stored on a bare s/h ZenMini MK3 S or a NAS.

Also, can the Pulsar, once purchased, have more I/Os added by Innuos at a later date?

Keeping the library on a ZENmini Mk3 S would give you the slickest experience overall and be easier to manage, plus would be an easier way to keep your existing music library of playlists, favourites, etc still intact - just perform a full backup of the ZENith Mk3 then restore that into the ZENmini.
As for the IO's, you currently have 3 module options - SPDIF, PhoenixUSB and PhoenixI2S. These can indeed be swapped out at any time, and the PULSAR does not need to come back to Portugal for that, your local Innuos dealer can perform the module swap for you.

Thanks, Stephen. How many extra I/Os can the Pulsar accommodate?
