Is it enough to connect the Stream 3 to a Nordost Qnet switch-on which a dCS Vivaldi upsampler and a Melco N5 library are also connected-to stream music from those two devices? Or should I also connect the usb output of the Innuos to the upsampler as well?

If you can get into the Melco on your PC, then on Explorer you can click on the navigation pane to reveal the exact path like this:
