I am running InnuOS 3.3.4 on my Zen Mini Mk 3 and when I use the Spotify app on my iPad to connect it shows the Zen as an option but when I select it it just try to connect but goes round and round and will not. I select my Sonos system and it connects straight away and plays. When I first updated to the latest software it connected but after a short period it lost connection and will not work since. Is there something I am missing? It is all on the same Wifi Network, the router is just behind my system and of course the Zen is hard wired into the router. I have tried resetting it all etc but no joy.

Any advice appreciated

thanks

Thanks for the reply Stephen, since then I have sold the Zen Mini and bought a used Zenith and Spotify connect works ok with that at the moment, I also see that the latest update to 3.3.7 has a Spotify connect fix so hopefully that helps as well. Previously the Spotify App said Zen Mini as a connection, with the Zenith it just shows as Innuos Music Player.

We've not had many reports of this, not sure what the issue might be. Which output do you use on the ZENmini, does it go to a USB DAC? If so, the DAC does need to be on with an active connection for Spotify to connect properly.
You don't need to worry about this though if you are using the analogue or SPDIF outputs on the ZENmini.

You can change the name of the ZENith output under SYSTEM -> SETTINGS -> AUDIO, and whatever name you set there will become the new name for the ZENith via Spotify Connect.

What’s really weird is that if I change the name to Zenith mk3 Spotify will not connect to it, just spins round, if I change it back to Innuos music player it connects straight away. Work that one out. No issues with QUOBUZ connect but Tidal connect will not work at all. Logged into same network, have logged out and back into tidal account on the zenith but still nothing. The server doesn’t show up in the list of available players.
