Smart mix play anything stops playing

Lately when playing a smart mix play anything option I keep finding that the playlist will play some tracks then randomly stop coming through. On the sense app it will however appear as if it’s still working fine, with songs being selected and timing through but no sound output. Only a system restart seems to fix this until it happens again.

I have zenith mk3, phoenix usb from innuos in my set up.

Getting frustrated so really appreciate some advice. It’s only happened recently.

This is not something I have come across. Is there a pattern or trend you have noticed at all, for example it will always be songs that are sourced from TIDAL only, for example? Or does your library consist of local files too, and sometimes those are failing to make an audible output during the Play Anything smart mix?

The library has a mix of local files and qobuz stream files linked in.
I haven’t noticed a pattern but must admit I have not monitored to try and find one. It is odd, as on the sense app it appears as if playing fine. It seems to happen more if you skip fwd a track

Am testing now to replicate, so far all working as expected.

Is your ZENith on the very latest software?
Which DAC do you use?

Please send over your system logs to support@innuos.com the next time you encounter the issue and also send over your LMS logs too as per the steps below.

Please check if the issue only occurs with Tidal/Qobuz tracks, or if it also occurs with local music on the ZENith.

Here's how to access LMS.

  • On any computer or device connected on the same network as your server, use your web browser and open https://my.innuos.com
  • Click on your Innuos system and should open on the browser using the IP address (ex: 192.168.1.100)
  • On your browser, edit the address bar and add “:9000/default/settings/index.html” so it looks like “192.168.1.100:9000/default/settings/index.html”
Go to information tab and download "everything".

Again, only send these over when your playback issue has just occurred so that the logs are relevant.
