Sense 1 replacement of a Roon Nucleus +

Hi, I am thinking of moving from my Roon set up to a Sream 1 due to the Roon monthly cost and the fact that i only really use it to play a random playlist from all of the tracks in my Qobuz library.

Can the sense app do this?

Also in Qobuz you can get it to play a random album in your library - useful to force me away from my usual go to albums so can this still be done in the sense app?

Hi Abrad, on Sense there is indeed a 'Play Anything' mode that can just pull music at random from your library, and if your library only consists of Qobuz then that is all it will pull from. We do also have 'SmartQ' which will be similar to Qobuz Autoplay / Roon Radio.
We do not have a 'play any album' but we do have other 'Smart Mixes' you can make in Sense by compiling select albums/artists.
And finally, we also support Qobuz Connect, so all told you should have a few more options than before!

Hi @Stephen Healy i finally have my sense 1 and just setting it up and initially really happy! regarding the play anything i have integrated my Qobuz library but dont see ant tracks to randomise. How do i add tracks?

Under the Music tab, then Playlists, your Qobuz playlists should all be there, and you can Shuffle Play from there.
Also, the main 'Play Anything' option should be on the Home tab near the top.
If none of your Qobuz content is appearing, then please check under SYSTEM -> SETTINGS -> STREAMING SERVICES that for QOBUZ that you have Library Integration set to ON.

I’ve got the Qobuz library there ok and opened one and clicked the + button on a track and that added it to the tracks folder so all good. Is there a way to add more than just one at a time?

It's the same as the native Qobuz app, so you can favourite Tracks, Albums, and Artists, but does need to be done on a one-at-a-time basis,

Yes, it will pull songs from the whole of the albums that you have favourites, rather than playing entire albums in a shuffled order. For that, it may be better to get one album playing, then just add a few more to the queue depending on how long you plan to listen for.
