Hi,
I would like to know if all the devices supported by Sense 3.x now have the real-time kernel? I assume this leads to better sound quality. Has anyone noticed any improvements?
Thanks.

Hi,

This feature is currently only available on the ZEN & ZENith Next Gen models.

So even Statment hasn't received the Real Time Kernel update? I don't understand why, it usually always brings an improvement to use an RT kernel. I had talked to Nuno Vitorino in Munich 2024 and he told me that the Sense 3 would be implemented in October and the RT kernel was also brought to Statment and Zenith MK3. But he argued that there would be no increase in sound performance. This is not clear to me, because the RT kernel should theoretically give a sound improvement. Can anyone give me some more detailed explanation? I don't ask to know factory secrets! Thanks.

The real-time kernel alone in isolation would not achieve a great deal. It's benefits become much more leveraged in conjunction with the AudioCore design, and it is only the newer Next-Gen devices that have enough cores capable of running AudioCore, hence why it also gets RTK whereas our previous generation models do not have enough cores to support this.
