Ok so it has arrived, lovely piece of kit, but no guidance at all on how to set it up so I apologise in advance about my probably continual posts :)

First I tried it as a Roon endpoint. Enabled the Pulse and started playing the music.......could not hear anything. The music was playing but I could not hear it. I then notoced the my Spring 3 DAC was showing up in the Settings-Audio tab on the Roon app. So I enabled this, played the music through the Spring Endpoint and it worked. So just to clarify I thought I would set the Innuos as the Endpoint? It appears I have to set the Spring 3 DAC as the endpoint. Is this correct?

With my previuos streamer I just selected the streamer as the Endpoint.

You can find many helpful articles on our support section, I recently overhauled it - https://innuos.com/support/

Presumably you're connecting to your Holo Dac via USB? So yes, your use case is correct in Roon. The Innuos option would be for anything connected to its DDC outputs so coax, optical and aes. USB Dacs will always show up seperately, just like they do in Sense.

Yes the Spring is connected by USB, so thanks for the clarification.
What confused me is my DMPA6 was also connected to the Spring by USB, but it was the Eversolo that shown as the Endpoint.

I did tru searching the Support section, but could not find the explanation.
