Hi @Stephen Healy @DanCollier

A simple question:
On the Statement NG,.the OCXO-clock...
Does it turn off when you turn off the streamer unit with the power switch on the front.

OR,.is it still powered when the streamer unit is turned off...

AND,.does it turn off when you turn off the power supply with the power switch on the back of it.

Hi,

When you power off your Statement using the front button but leave the rear switch on, the OCXO clocks remain powered providing the rear switch is still enabled.

Hi Dan 🙂...
Thanks,.valuable information.

The reason I ask is...
That I got the advice much earlier from one of InnuO's dealers in Sweden.
This when I had a Zen and Zenith mk3.

To turn off all devices at regular intervals for about 30 seconds,.which had an OCXO clock in them.
This would affect the sound quality positively...
♦️Which It Definitely Did.

My devices at the time with an OCXO clock were my Phoenix USB-reclocker,.Phoenix NET.
My Zenith had a TXCO clock according to the report, but it also turned off.
The interval with the above devices was about 17 days before the sound quality deteriorated.

Now with Statement NG the interval before the sound quality deteriorates is slightly longer.
BUT,.I advise everyone to try this, it was valuable advice I got from my InnuO's dealer.

Hi @DanCollier or @Stephen Healy
I have a follow-up question.

When I turn off my Statement NG,.first the streamer on the front.
And then the power supply on the back.

When I turn it back on,.I obviously do it in reverse order after about 5 minutes.
Then the following happens if I do it right after each other...
First the power switch on the back,.and then right after, maybe 10 seconds the power switch on the front.
Then nothing happens,.the white light on the power switch does not come on, even though I press the power switch several times.

Only if I then wait a while,.maybe about a minute or a little longer and press the front power switch again, does the white light come on.
And then the blue light when the streamer has started up.
♦️Is this okay...
That I should wait a while after turning on the power supply,.before turning on the streamer.
Or is there something wrong with my Statement NG.?

As per this article, this is indeed the expected behaviour and is always the case with Next-Gen STATEMENTs;

Thanks @Stephen Healy,.and @DanCollier
My Statement NG is behaving a little differently as I describe above, than as described in the link you posted.

BUT,.I still interpret it as being "within normal" and that I don't need to worry.

I bought my Statement NG in June of this year,.so I'm a bit observant if anything happens outside of what I'm used to.
