This is bizarre.
I have had my Zen set up for well over a year going through my Arcam Dac. All was fine until yesterday when it just stopped producing sound.
I have messed with all the connections, tried unplugging everything overnight, updated to the latest software, but still no sound.
This morning I tried it with a different DAC and am still having the same problem. When I go into settings in the Sense app the DAC is recognised (so was the other DAC) and everything looks as though it should be playing normally but there is still no sound.
The Arcam DAC also a CD player and that is working fine, so it is not the connection to the amp that is the problem.
Both DACs are also USB 2 so it's not that.
Can anyone help?
