Although new to the Forum I've had a Zenith Mk3 since 2020. Having completely changed out the rest of my (headphone based) system, the Zenith Mk3 has been a permanent fixture of the various configurations I have listened to. It's a great product for those of us who like having a music collection, some of which isn't available to stream (eg Genesis BBC Broadcasts) but can be augmented with a Streaming Capability (Tidal, Qobuz etc). It sounds great....

One of the advances since 2020 has been the use of software to enhance playback of files etc. Whilst PGGB is an option, the size of files and time to create them is a big issue. The other alternative is HQ Player. Whilst there are ways to set up HQ Player in the Innuos ecosystem, it doesn't work like the Roon Integration as part of a clear configuration in the Sense (OS in my case) App.

Given the above, I was wondering whether Innuos has any plans to include HQ Player embedded as clear configuration into the Sense app, like Roon, or not.

I have had a look at the forum and this has been suggested I believe in Innuos Product development, but not responded to yet.

The answer may be a clear no, but I thought I'd ask. For those of us who are not technical the current HQ player workarounds/not being able to use the sense app is a clear issue.

Thanks....

The only difference we have with HQPlayer compared to the other modes is that we can only offer HQPlayer receiver/renderer, and cannot run the server duties of HQPlayer. It is a very intensive application and you would generally need something a bit more powerful for that level of heavy upsampling etc. So, it is simply not possible.
It could perhaps be a possibility in the future as hardware gets faster and more powerful whilst still maintaining low-noise characteristics, but we have no foreseeable plans for this right now with regards to HQPlayer.
Other than that, HQPlayer and Roon integrations are somewhat similar on Sense, in that once activated it shuts down quite a bit of the Sense functionality so that it does not clash with your main app of choice for control and managements (Roon/HQPlayer)
