This news about new streamers that can be used as endpoints has me thinking. If you were to have both a server and a need for an endpoint. Would upgrading the streamer used as the server, or upgrading the streamer used as the endpoint have more sq impact at the endpoint system. Obviously, if the focus is on the system directly connected to the server, you upgrade the server.

The endpoint is generally where the music is decoded, i.e., the player. The server tells the player what to play and where to find it. My feeling is if you have separate server and player, the player is more important for sound quality. I’ve proven this to myself many times, also the player software is extremely important for best sound quality
