I don’t think Innous have a recommended size, though most of the automatic covers that Sense comes up with seem to be around 600 x 600. It depends on the cover but I generally like to change it to something around 1200 x 1200, either by choosing one of the alternatives Sense suggests, or finding one myself. Either way, I like to do all the editing through the Sense app on my iPad, though I know some prefer more control over metadata, and will use an app on PC/MAC such as MP3TAG.

There is no real recommended size to be honest, roughly 600 x 600 makes sense in that you would not really see much more image clarity of the artwork on a smartphone or tablet, so going for huge file sizes that are multiple megabytes in size only adds bloat to file size and transfer speed etc. However, if you were often displaying this artwork on a large 4K screen, then yes you may want to go for a larger resolution if available.
