Thank you for that - i notice that despite 2.0 in the description its USB interface spec is class 1.1. This is very likely the issue as our system generally does not have a lot of compatibility at all with USB Class 1.1, and needs USB Class 2.0 which has been the standard for awhile.
I would suggest considering a newer drive if possible which will also have much faster transfer speeds. Otherwise, i think the only way to make your current drive work would be to insert a USB Hub between it and the Innuos, but unless you have one of these to hand then I would say it is not worth buying one just for the sake of this drive.
