Currently I have an Innuos PulseMini acting as a Roon Endpoint in its Roon Bridge Mode. (My Roon core is a Nucleus One.) Roon has no trouble finding the PulseMini Zone and i can use the “Device Volume” setting and use the Roon sliders to control the volume on the speakers that the PulseMini serves. (The PulseMini is connected to an LTA Aero DAC which is connected to a CODA integrated amp. (The DAC has no output gain or volume control feature. The amp has no network connectivity).)
Question i have is whether anybody knows if the Innuos Stream1 or Stream3 will also be compatible with the Roon “Device Volume” setting or will i be forced to use DSP Volume (not good for SQ) or Fixed Volume (i.e., have to adjust volume directly at the amp)? (For comparison’s sake, for example, my Auerender N200 in a different set-up the also feeds a LTA Aero DAC can only operate in fixed volume as far as Roon is concerned.)
