We have received a very small number of reports where the stated 'Last Sync Date' for TIDAL is listed as 01/01/1970. We believe this is just a visual bug that should have no actual import on system functions or performance.

Since early December 2024 when syncing my PULSEmini it has appeared as 01/01/1070. It has resulted in several issues such as when an album has finished, I am not able to play another one without restarting my phone (sometimes multiple times a night if I am having an evening playing music).
Having contacted Innuos support my plugins look good and been told that this bug is currently in your backlog and will prioritise fixing it once you are able to reliably reproduce it.
I was hoping that a system update would solve the issue, but last week’s 3.2.0-2 update has not.
It is now almost two months, and it is frustrating.
I am not sure that the sync date issue is the cause of why you cannot play another album, this is more likely related to the app being put to 'sleep' by the phone when it has not been used after awhile. Could you let me know the make and model of the phone?
Rather than restarting the phone, just open app drawer and force close to 'kill' the app and then relaunch it, and it should reconnect right away.
Do note that update 3.2.0-2 is a beta is for bug testing of planned new features, so would not be bringing in any inherent bug fixes just yet until the full official 3.2 release.
Some applications aren't ended completely when you return to the home screen. If you don't end them from the list of running applications, they keep running in the background which may slow down your phone.
This bug is quite an anomaly that only seems to happen in some very unique circumstances and it proving very difficult to replicate or reproduce in our own QA testing.
If any more experiences do occur then please get in touch with us, but given the low number of users affected we may need to solve these on a case-by-case basis, as for now we have no fix we can establish and rollout in an update.

Following the recent system updates the bugs have been ironed out and all is working fine. The first of the two updates was last Monday and I added new albums, played them, synced and did the same every night without a problem.
