Streaming with the Zenith MK3 or external Streamer

Hey Community. I m a happy new owner of a Zenith mk 3. Before I bought the Nachhinein Read a Lot, an some Magazinen recommend to use the Zenith with an externem Streamer, why? You can also stream thevthe Zenith. Is thecsound with an extrernal stream better? I connected my old Streamer an old auraliac mini and thevsound was Not better.. so why do they say an external Streamer makes sense? Thanks Martin

I've tried a Bluesound Node 2i streamer & a Wiim Ultra streamer with my Mk3 Zenith and both, into the same external Dac, sound vastly inferior to the USB out on the Zenith.
Personally I think you'd need to spend a lot of money to get even close to the sound quality of the Zenith.
