Stream1 it gets hot

Have an Innuos stream1 it gets hot about 42 °C degrees on the outside.
What is the operating temperature on the stream1.

Regarding heat, yes, the system will run warm during operation as it is passively cooled, so that is normal. If your system is fitted with a PhoenixUSB board, that will also draw additional current for the OCXO clock. The area around the regulator will run from warm to somewhat hot to the touch, but again that is expected, normal behaviour.

My innuos stream1 is with Phoenix USB board.
Stream1 gets very hot and shuts down when I transfer music files from my usb ssd hard drive. stream had to cool down then I could transfer again. So my question is, is this normal.

Is it on the very latest 3.4.2 version? This includes changes to account for thermal management.

yes it is version 3.4.2 that is installed. can't remember when I installed it.
I made a backup a few days ago and it worked fine.
