New zen ng, import or usb ?

I will have a new zen ng shortly and have an existing zenith mk3 (to be used as ripper and NAS going forward). Initial load of the NG, one tb music, is there any difference in using a USB backup, or use the import function via network (sq/time/other)????

The main difference is that a restore of your backup will actually retain your playlists, favourites, mixes, presets and so on, whereas just doing a direct 'import from nas' does not bring any of that kind of information, so i do definitely recommend a backup restore!
There will be no differences in SQ.
Regarding time, well, that depends on the USB drive used and the NAS/network being used, but generally I would say that a modern USB drive would be quicker, and generally simpler.
