Hi, I’m new to Innuos and after much consideration I’m seriously considering getting an Innuos ”Pulse”.

Am I correct to understand that it indeed can work as an HQPlayer NAA in ”Endpoint mode”?

I want to stream music (Qobuz using Loopback and local DSD files) from my MacBook Air M1 to the Pulse over the same network using HQP.

You are correct, I have a Zen mk3 and a Pulsar and they both can be used as HQ player endpoints.

Yes, our devices can be NAA endpoints.

I was listening to Nuno's video with Mr Serinus on how you optimise things.

I've liked Sense from the day it was launched. I'm not anti-Roon (I have lifetime) as I tend to listen to whole albums from artists I know or read about in print and online media.

I've been using HQ Player for the last 6 months. Roon and HQ Player are run on a remote network device and my Pulsar is connected to the network by fibre optic cable. The networked device sends out everything in DSD256 because that's optimal for my R2R DAC. The Pulsar is of course in HQ Player endpoint mode.

In terms of how Pulsar processes incoming data, would I expect better performance using Pulsar with Sense in Standalone Mode compared to HQ Player in endpoint mode?
