No, this will not work. You can map your NAS or a shared folder on your PC/Mac if you want to expand your music library. otherwise you can change the storage on your system. If its a current system so STREAM series, ZEN/ZENith Next Gen then you can install your own storage, otherwise it will require a return to the factory to adjust the current storage.
