I signed up here after calling support about this endpoint option. Using a new Pulsar soon after launch, I tried both Sense and Roon endpoints using a Zen Mk3, then went to Sense standalone. I do like the Sense front end a lot. I have a Roon lifetime subscription as the rest of the house (8 zones) use Roon.
Having acquired a R2R DAC that seems to like DSD, a Holo May L2, I thought I'd give it a go. I've bought a refurbished Mac Mini (M2 Pro 16gb). I will be connecting it to my main switch and sending to my audio system over fibre.
If it doesn't work out I can use the machine for everyday business use, as I'm currently using an M1 in my office, and could sell that. I will buy the HQP software to give it a proper workout.
I'm no computer geek. I know close to zero about them and don't even know what a GPU is, but it seems to be important.
So I thought I'd start a thread hoping to get the most out of this option.
