My Aperio plays native DSD files. On the ripper to my Zen-NG should I select the native DSD option or the DSD over PCM?

Hi, can you help me better understand your Pulsar. If streaming is not my priority, playing my own ripped CD's and Physical media. Is Pulsar a better option for me than the Zen-NG I have? I just want the ripping storage option, as Aperio can connect to streaming services directly? In affect is the Pulsar a storage device without the streamer?

As far as I know, the Pulsar is a streamer-only unit with no onboard storage capability. For your local files you would need a NAS or other networked storage system. Playing local files, i.e., your ripped CD's, is still called streaming. Sorry, I am not familiar with your Aperio so can't say how it compares to the Pulsar or Zen-NG.
