Hello,
I have a Zen Mini MK2 running Debian 9. The BIOS backup battery died, and the BIOS completely reset itself, displaying the date as 01/01/2012. I replaced the battery, but I don't know the BIOS settings. Could someone help me with the following parameters:
SATA mode: IDE or AHCI?
CSM support: Enabled or Disabled?
If Enabled:
Boot option filter: Legacy or UEFI?
Network, Storage, Video, Other PCI: Legacy or UEFI?
Boot mode select: Legacy or UEFI?
Secure Boot: Enabled or Disabled?

If the hard drive boot sector is damaged, can I reload the firmware using a bootable USB drive?
If so, where can I find the firmware file?

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

The BIOS is custom, so its best you email support@innuos.com to book in a repair as it will need to serviced.
Include the serial number and any other relevant details in your email.

If the HDD fails, then it will also need to be returned for a replacement HDD and OS install. We do not provide users access to our OS to be locally installed.

Hi,
thank you for your reply. I finally replaced the BIOS battery and, with its default configuration, I was able to unlock the firmware update by booting from a Linux USB drive using Linux commands. Now, the Zen Mini works perfectly and is detected by my.innuos.com
