Backing up to NAS information

I curently have my NAS setup as my music backup for my ZEN MK3. When I first did my initial backup it took days (25,000+ songs).
What I would like to know is, if I periodically do a backup to this NAS, does it write over the existing backup and start again (taking days) or just backup any changes make since the last backup (quicker) ?
For example, I have added about 10GB of music since my last update but am hesitant to click the backup now function if this means a number of days where the network is affected due to constant data being written across the network.

Solution
Hi, all backups are incremental, whether by USB or NAS.
As long as you keep the target path/folder for the NAS backup the same, the backups will remain incremental so should not take long to do.
As an aside, the duration of NAS backups can hugely vary based on network setup, NAS processor and disk speed, etc etc.

Thanks @Stephen Healy - incremental is what I was hoping to hear!
